Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using the Cirkel mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Cirkel is currently in beta testing phase and is not yet formally established as a business entity in Ghana. These Terms govern your use of the App during this developmental stage.

Cirkel is a community platform that allows users to post requests for items or services and connect with nearby people who can fulfil those requests. Cirkel does not directly provide any goods or services — it facilitates connections between users.

To use Cirkel, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Please note that your email address cannot be changed once your account has been created. Use a valid, accessible email address when signing up.

You may use Cirkel to request or offer a wide range of items and services. However, you agree not to use the App to request, offer, or facilitate:

• Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Any items or services that are illegal under Ghanaian law or the laws of your jurisdiction
• Any item that would not be permitted on a standard e-commerce platform
• Harassment, abuse, or harm directed at other users
• Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive activity

Cirkel reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these guidelines.

When you post a request, you are signalling genuine intent to obtain the item or service described. Cirkel expects all requests to be made in good faith.

As Cirkel transitions to a paid model in the future, posting requests will require a commitment mechanism to ensure the quality of interactions on the platform. We will notify users in advance of any such changes.

Cirkel is not a party to any transaction or agreement between users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, and Cirkel makes no warranties about the conduct or identity of any user.

Cirkel is currently free to use. We intend to introduce paid plans in the future to ensure that the platform maintains a high-quality, committed community.

We will provide reasonable notice before any paid features are introduced. Your continued use of the App after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing terms.

All content, branding, design, and technology that makes up the Cirkel App is owned by or licensed to Cirkel. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our express written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cirkel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or any transaction between users.

Cirkel does not verify the identity of all users, does not guarantee the quality or delivery of any item or service, and is not responsible for any loss, damage, or dispute that arises from user interactions.

Cirkel reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your conduct may cause harm to other users or the platform. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on the App and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
